Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her assistance and commitment to strengthening South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) expert services in the course of an engagement using the company's senior professionals in a strategic planning session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the numerous social grant beneficiaries, who excelled in the 2024 matric final exams.
On the 724 156 full-time learners who registered to the National Senior Certificate (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, symbolizing 81% of your registered pupils during the education and learning sector.
These learners reached a commendable pass rate of 86%.
